The Z802 is the successor to the Z801. I must say the model number is very Sony Ericsson. The phone is special due to the fact that it is constructed with metal and leather (like Vertu) hence making the phone look great. It is a 3G clamshell and features a 1.2 inch 260K external display which is very useful. The phone also features a main 2 mega pixel camera with flash, secondary camera for video calls, internal 2.2 inch 260K QVGA screen and microSD support. The keys are made of chrome and fit well with the design. In all, I like the look of the phone and it's specs are also not bad (the cam takes decent pics too).

Samsung i450 is the new Samsung 3G-enabled phone which is a dual slider running on Symbian OS.

This handset presents a two way slider design which is almost same as Nokia N95. However, Samsung i450 is much more slimmer than N95 (21mm, 120gram), coming with only 11.8 mm thick and only light 95 gram weight. The lightweight 3G capable handset and the compact dimensions of the handset make it easy for the user to carry in their pocket and on the palm.

This new slider features a 2.3 inch colour TFT display, displaying up to 262000 colours on the high 320 x 240 pixels resolution screen.

Nokia Unveils 3G Clamshell

The Nokia 6555 is a quad-band GSM/EDGE and dual-band WCDMA 850/2100 3G clamshell that also has two cameras for video sharing services. It is an addition to Nokia's style collection, and has a curved profile when open. The hinge is hidden, creating a smooth back to the phone. It has dual displays and the interior screen has QVGA resolution. The camera is 1.3 Megapixels and it also has Bluetooth, support for up to 4GB in the microSD slot, and it runs the Series 40 platform. It is available in several colors and goes on sale next month for 200 Euros.

Verizon Launches Motorola Q9m Online

Verizon today made Motorola's Q9m smartphone available to online buyers. Although the Q9m is similar to the HSDPA Q9h, this EV-DO version features slightly different styling and downgrades some features. It shares the Q9h's keyboard, screen, Windows Mobile 6 standard (Smartphone) and stereo Bluetooth but uses Mini SD instead of MicroSD and downgrades the camera to 1.3 Megapixels. It also features a new multimedia home screen. The Q9m is only available from Verizon's website for $250 with a 2-year contract and rebates.
